Paris Hilton is a kind lady and very well knows how to gain headlines. Hilton was at the center of a bizarre nightclub incident when she comforted an entertainer in an Oompa-Loompa costume injured when the crowd rushed the stage.
Paris Hilton was among the crowd at Cameo nightclub in Miami early Saturday morning at an event sponsored by Ariva smokeless tobacco, featuring a performance of Jeff Beacher’s Madhouse with three Oompa-Loompa characters in orange makeup and green hair. And suddenly the fun turned deadly when the crowd rushed the stage, injuring Paris’ oompa-loompa friend Robin Sherwood. Sherwood and Paris are coincidentally long-time friends, so when she saw his leg was badly cut, she cried to find help for him.
Lawyer Mike Heller of Talent Resources, who booked the event says;
I was with Paris, Paris stayed back at the event when she heard that he was injured, to make sure he was okay. She was very concerned with his health. She didn’t leave until she knew that he was okay.
A Cameo source adds:
Yes, Paris Hilton stayed with him until an ambulance came to take care of him. Paris was great, she was there until he was turned over to the medical technicians.
Sherwood received 50 stitches at the hospital and is recovering at the Versace mansion in South Beach.
