Bingo: Paris received royal treatment during sentence
Posted by Paris Hilton in Cordless Phone, jail, Paris Hilton on July 14, 2007

Oh Boy! Making a mockery of all the claims of similar treatment like other inmates, Paris managed to get what little luxuries were available in the jail. The Sheriff’s Department has been accused of offering undue favors and royal treatment to Paris during her 23 days of imprisonment. The charges include providing a cordless phone to Hilton, whereas all inmates are suppose to wait for their turn in queue for hours to use the only one assigned pay phone. Now I know that how did Paris manage to call that reporter who first told about Paris’ plight in jail!
Other allegation include that Hilton was provided a new jail uniform instead of the recycled one which all inmates are suppose to wear. Also a Captain delivered all her mails whereas inmate trusties are expected to this job.
Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore saidthat they are going to investigate it and get to the bottom of it and find out exactly what happened.
Paris has proved that its not only in night clubs where her oomph works, as a matter of fact she can seduce even police department to get her job done.

Aftermath of jail for Paris Hilton: $1m pay day !
Posted by Paris Hilton in jail, NBC, Paris Hilton, The New York Post on June 23, 2007

Nothing succeeds like success in Hollywood , better still if you are a celebrity in news for wrong reasons.
This is what has happened with Paris Hilton who was all over the place for her infamous jail term. Her first television interview following her release from jail next week is going to get her a whopping $1m if the industry news is to be believed.
NBC, the U.S. based news channel is ready to please her with a staggering amount for her interview. NBC has infact reportedly won a bid which was on a war footing to secure an exclusive chat with the heiress, who is serving a 45-day sentence for driving on a suspended license following a drink driving offence.
The sources in The New York Post said NBC News had willingly promised to pay up to one million dollars (500,000 pounds) for the interview with Miss Hilton, who is due to be released from the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, California, on Monday.
While replying to one of the fan mail’s Paris thanked the fan from the core of her heart for being with her “at such a difficult and scary time”. She wrote,
I read your letter and just wanted to thank you for your kind words of love and support,”
The craze to woo her for her maiden interview post jail-term between the TV channels has soared beyond imagination. The fans at large are very sure of one thing. By offering such a whopping amount, half of the battle is already won by means of publicity so far as NBC is concerned. Nevertheless, fans aren’t complaining at all since it would be a icing on the cake for them.

Hilton is winning her fans, answering their letters from jail
Posted by Paris Hilton in fans, jail, Letters, Mails, Paris Hilton on June 21, 2007

It doesn’t matter whether she is shining as a star on the skies of the celebrity circle or if she is sulking behind the gloomy bars of her cell, Paris Hilton knows very well how to keep her charm intact in her fans’ hearts.
Since she began her jail sentence on June 4, Paris has been religiously answering her fanmail. Infact, now she seems more relaxed as she is away from her mandatory party-hopping scene.
Anyways, coming back to the point, Paris is trying to keep herself alive in the hearts of her fans by reaching out to them via letters. E! Online has obtained one such letter which was addressed to an unidentified fan. The letter reads:
I read your letter and just wanted to thank you for your kind words of love and support. The fact that you took time out of your day to write me truly means the world. Especially at such a difficult and scary time in my life. But I am being strong and trying to make the best out of the situation. And the letters I’m receiving really do put a smile on my face as I sit here in my cell, sad and alone.
The letter, imprinted on plain stationery, is signed ‘Love always, Paris Hilton’ with hearts dotting the i’s and “xoxo” under the signature.
And for those who plan to rubbish this as a gimmick, Paris’ rep. has already confirmed the authenticity of the letter saying,
That letter was written by Paris. She’s been trying to respond to her fans as they write, personally.
Now, thats why I like Paris.
Hilton’s prison dairy: Day two, actress is bugged by cold and noise
Posted by Paris Hilton in jail, Paris Hilton on June 7, 2007

Well, after spending more or less a fine day-one in jail, the harsh conditions of imprisonment are taking their toll on Paris. Day two was very painful for the actress.
The actress complained of freezing cold and absence of pillow from her cell and she had to use one of her three blankets as makeshift pillow. And even the noise, which other inmates generated, is proving too much for Hilton. Apart from a disturbed sleep, Paris also complained of lack of appetite.
But for the moment Hilton is proving a star attraction for other inmates and as she walked by they shouted Paris! Paris! Paris! Some inmates even told her that she doesn’t deserve to be here. One of the inmates even made an origami butterfly from a magazine page and slipped it under her door, while one gave her a drawing book.
Paris couldn’t talk freely with her lawyer and family as all conversation are recorded in jail.

Paris will squander 23 days in jail!
Posted by Paris Hilton in jail, Paris Hilton, reckless driving on May 17, 2007
Paris may have to start counting her days, as according to authorities she has to serve about half of her 45-days jail sentence and be separated from the general inmate population.
Paris has to spend 23 days in jail with two-person cells reserved for police officers, public officials, celebrities and other high-profile inmates, and like everyone else in the 2,200-inmate facility, Paris will get at least an hour outside her cell each day to shower, watch television, participate in outdoor recreation or talk on the telephone.
She has decree to jail this month for violating the terms of her audition in an alcohol-related reckless driving case. Arbitrator ordered her to report to jail by June 5. Good Luck Paris!

Paris Hilton beseeches President Bush for Pardon
Posted by Paris Hilton in fax, jail, Paris Hilton, President Bush, White House on May 7, 2007
Paris Hilton sent a hilarious fax to the White House from the VIP room of The Ivy restaurant on Friday evening. In the letter she begs Bush to pardon her for the sake of all the poor, less fortunate people in the country. Paris received 45 days jail term for violation and allegedly driving on a suspended license.
The letter read,
First, way to go on your selection to the presidency, I know the judges made the right decision in picking you. Even though I didn’t get to see you perform, you must have been hot.
Your presidency, people with our talents and abilities serve the country best by continuing to provide entertainment for people. What good would it do to lock me up for forty-five days when I could spend that time providing entertainment and employment opportunities to less fortunate people who have to work for a living?… Although our paths have never met, you don’t look like the kind of guy who would snatch people up and send them to prison without hardly any notice. I have club appearances, shopping trips, and doctors appointments scheduled months in advance. Canceling them at this late date would be a heartship to the DJs, merchants, and all the other unfortunate working people who depend on me for a livinghood… I could do ‘immunity’ service, like making a hot video warning kids about the dangers of STDs (sexually transmitted diseases).”
In the Letter, Paris also argues against the notice that requires her to report to the jail citing it as “rude and unusual†punishment.
Hear is another stance where President Bush finds him in a jinx though, different to the terror this time, there is a minimal chance that the gorgeous ‘devil’ will receive an affirmative on her appeal and this is what the source to the white house confirm – that its only a “little chance” that Mr. Bush will pardon Ms. Hilton.

Paris in bad mess, gets 45 days jail term!
Posted by Paris Hilton in jail, Paris Hilton, reckless driving on May 4, 2007

Spoilt-brat Paris Hilton is in a big time mess, as Los Angeles City Attorney has obtained documents filed with the court, in which prosecutors say they want Paris to spend at least 45 days in jail.
Paris has to appear on probation for violation and allegedly driving on a suspended license.

The legal papers ask that:
Hilton be ordered to serve 45 days in County Jail. And we also want that Paris will not consume any alcohol for a continuous period of 90 days. And also she will be monitored for alcohol consumption … by use of a Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitoring (SCRAM) device at her expense.
Well I hope Paris you get out of this mess soon or else you may have to end up in jail for what…45 days. I wish you all the best!
