Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan are a true Hollywood story – from best of friends to the worst of enemies. With all the bitichin’ and antics gone long enough, one of them decided to call it a truce. Yes you heard it right; Lohan tried to the gentlemanly thing and called up Paris, sending nice little messages in a 55-year-old smoker’s voice. The gist of the communiqué was an offer for peace and ending of the bitter vendetta.

So far so good! Hilton, being the snob that she without a doubt is, took offense and had her assistant call Lohan up and leave fart sound messages on pop diva’s voice mail. The National Enquirer says:

What else did you expect from as classy a being as Paris Hilton? Kinda predictable ain’t it? It is quite obvious that this tale is far from over. Paris Hilton is all set to make good money as soon as the New Year begins. After spending hard times in prison the heiress will finally bid ‘badbye’ to this year and ring in 2008 playing a hostess at the Las Vegas nightclub LAX’s New Year’s Eve.

Earlier Paris’ friend Lindsay Lohan was speculated to host the event, but she refused citing post-rehab sobriety concerns. And now it is for sure that Hilton has agreed to play the host at the nightclub and that comes to her for a whooping amount of $1 million.

Showing off at nightclubs and parties to make money is not new to Paris babe as she has reportedly earned more than $2 million when she sat in the front row at designer Kira Plastinina’s fashion show in Russia on Monday. Surely Paris’ is someone whose mere glance could fetch her millions of bucks and that’s what I envy her for.

Reports have it that Lindsay will not host the party in LAX, contradicting earlier reports of such talks of vice versa which is now confirmed to be absolutely false and misleading.

It was just two days back that Lindsay had been tapped to host the New Year’s bash at one of the most happening spots in the world. News has it that the just returned from rehab, Lindsay was not actually pleased with the schedules gig , yet had to forcefully accept the job because of her contractual obligations. Lindsay was said to have agreed to take up this job because the sensational Hollywood actress wants to return the money she has once earned by agreeing to host her 21st birthday in Sin City at PURE nightclub, which was cancelled because of her treatment that was on at the same time in her rehab. Lindsay is said to owe million and thousand dollars to the PURE nightclub which falls under the Pure Management Group similarly to LAX.

Whats more if its not Lohans, it’s the Hiltons. The officials from the venue have been confirming that the New Years Eve Party will be hosted by none other than Paris and Nicky Hilton. Confirming this to the outside world, a representative from LAX said,

We only know that Paris and Nicky Hilton are hosting the NYE party at LAX, and as far as I know they’re the only hosts.

Lindsay Lohan has been making headlines for more reasons than ever. Ever since her misbehaviour at the Golden Globes after getting high on alcohol, followed by her stay at the rehab to get over her excessive alcohol binging where patching up with her dad was yet another news, this young star seems to have taken a high rise in front of the media with issues surrounding her personal life rather than making a strong mark in the industry with her performances. As for all those who are aiming the LAX for this New Years Party, Hiltons will be there as your host, these are confirmations only as of now. Only time will tell if this holds true because in the glam world anything is predictable especially if Lindsay is concerned with it these days. Luck doesn’t seem to be following the actress, all her fans though will be hoping that the New Year sees a new Lindsay and they can enjoy her as much on screen acting rather than off screen dramas.

Legendary musician Prince has humiliated Paris Hilton by challenging her to sing live.

On April 21, Prince was who was performing at Las Vegas’ Rio All Suite Hotel invited the hotel heiress to accompany him on stage. An elated Paris who dashed up the stage to meet the pop sensation was then handed a microphone by Prince who reportedly said to the audience, “Lets see if she can really sing!”

Us Weekly magazine reported that the wealthy socialite fumed and feeling thoroughly humiliated stormed off the stage and left the club minutes later.

Paris’ spokespersons’ have denied the incident, saying,

This item is false.

However, Princes’ representative refused to comment.

Paris, it seems is going through a rough patch. Earlier this week, her contact details were posted on the Internet by rival Shanna Moakler. Following that, she was publicly belittled by her beau Josh Henderson when she insisted on driving his car despite a suspended license. On a night out to Hollywood hotspot Sugar, she was outshined by rival Lindsay Lohan, who managed more friends than Paris.
