Perhaps, in her last public appearance before the imprisonment Paris Hilton paid a surprised visit to MTV Movie Awards. But even than the actress accepted the fact that a mere thought of jail makes her scary. Hilton was wearing black strapless dress and jewels. She looked in a good mood and obliged photographers by posing in different styles.

Expressing her feeling on imprisonment Hilton said:

I am trying to be strong right now. I’ve received thousands of letters from around the world of support and it’s really been inspirational and really helped me. I’m really scared but I’m ready to do this. And I hope that I’m an example to other young people.

Hilton’s sentence would begin on June 5 at a county jail in Lynwood, which is located about five miles south of Los Angeles. It has been learnt that in jail Hilton would be kept in ‘special needs’ unit. Though initially Hilton was awarded 45 days imprisonment for alcohol-related reckless-driving and driving with a suspended license, but later her sentence was reduced to 23 days as it was expected that she would show good behaviour in jail.

Well, I hope that while in jail Hilton does some introspection and realizes that it’s high time to put an end to all her stupidities.
