Hotel heiress Paris Hilton and diamond heiress Zeta Graff have finally settled their $10 million defamation lawsuit. The multimillion-dollar lawsuit was filed by TV reality star Zeta Graff accusing Hilton of planting defamatory stories about her in a gossip column in 2005. It seems that Hilton has become pretty smart! See, how neatly she avoided her trip to court. I guess 23 days imprisonment has taught her a lesson.

Now both sides Wednesday reached an ‘amicable resolution’ but attorneys for both Graff and Hilton declined to reveal any details. Jury selection for a civil trial was due to start next Monday, but lawyers for the socialites settled the case during a court hearing in Santa Monica, California.

It seems that the impending sentence is making Paris Hilton jittery and the actress is believed to be in a shattered mental state. Hilton has been awarded 45 days imprisonment for violating her probation for driving with a suspended license.

To make the matter worse for Hilton the next hearing of $10 million defamation trail is also schedule for May 21.

Her psychiatrist Sophy Dr. Charles Sophy said:

She is emotionally distraught and traumatized as a consequence of the findings at the May 4 hearing, the jail sentence imposed upon her by the judge, and her fear of incarceration. She needs to recover from the outcome of the jail sentence and given her current psychological and emotional state she’s not capable of any meaningful participation in a trial.

Actress Zeta Graff sued Hilton in 2005 for falsely accusing former of stalking Hilton and her ex. Though Zeta did date Hilton’s ex before he started seeing Paris.

Everything is not fine these days with hotel heiress Paris Hilton as she has been sued by model-producer Zeta Graff for slander and court has asked Fred Khalilian, the owner of Club Paris, court to give a videotaped deposition in the case.

A lawsuit of 10-million dollars has been filed against party girl Hilton and she is due in court on February 5.
According to the club Graff attacked Paris at a ‘London nightclub and tried to rip off Hilton’s $4 million necklace.’

However, Graff is claiming that the whole story is fictional. She was saying,

I was served to give a deposition concerning the Zeta Graff, Paris Hilton Case. I am really not playing a role in this. I guess this about one person who has a problem with another person and they are going to ask me about certain things and I am just going to go up there and tell the truth and nothing but the truth.

Khalilian, who recently sacked Hilton from the Club Paris for lack of partying, also condemned Hilton for her selfish nature. He was quoted by Idontlikeyouthatway.com saying,

The problem is when she is done with you, she chews you and spits you out. When she is done with you’re out. The people around her get so star struck because she is so powerful presentation wise.

Huh! No doubt Hilton is very selfish. She loves to kick-out people as she did with her so-called best buddy Britney Spears.
